Custom Headstalls - starting at $150
NOTE: the $150 price for a custom headstall is the DEPOSIT ONLY. If your design requires more intricate work, costly upgrades or materials the price will reflect this. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE WORK HAS BEGUN. If work has NOT begun, deposits MAY NOT BE SUBJECT TO FULL REFUND if design work has already started. Each piece is hand cut, tooled, stamped, dyed, sewn, and finished. Heavily tooled pieces (pictured) run $150 and up. I use a veg tan overlay for tooling purposes, backed by strong latigo leather to produce a piece that will give years of use! Latigo and harness leathers are heat treated in a drum during the tanning process. They are stuffed with tannins and oil, giving the leather strength and natural repelling properties to moisture. This helps the leather to repel horse sweat and water. It still needs cleaned and cared for, though!

Custom pieces are NOT refundable. Designs are submitted to the purchaser prior to beginning work for approval. Custom works require a 50% deposit (non refundable) to begin work.
