Riding Lessons
Silverhill Stables is offering beginner riding lessons! Our lessons are geared towards those wanting to learn horsemanship skills, trail riding, horse management, and riding the gaited horse.
But you will learn how to safely enjoy riding with good balance without bracing on your horse's face, treating your horse as a partner and not a tool, tacking up and care of equipment, managing some problem behaviors, and caring for your horse.
We're located in Northern Kentucky, ten minutes from Interstate 71. Until a covered arena can be constructed lessons are weather dependent. Adapted lessons offered for individuals who may safely be served at our facility.

Silverhill Stables Mountain horses has several horses available for lease. Basic terms for leasing are as follows;
Full lease available for $500 per month. Lessee has 5 days of the week available to come groom, work with, and ride. No one else has the option to lease this horse.
Partial lease available for $250 per month and lessee chooses up to two days a week they wish to lock in for use of the horse. Horse is shared between no more than two people.
Lessee's will have use of tack and equipment, outdoor riding arena with light for night use. Owner pays all feed, medical, and farrier. Lessee's are required to help with some chores related to the horse or barn while they are on site. Any accidents or injuries that may occur to the horse under saddle with the lessee must be paid by the lessee.
The horse stays on property AT ALL TIMES. The lessee is allowed to ride anywhere on the farm. Included are lessons (1x week partial lease, 2x week full lease) and handling help until lessor feels the lessee is competent and comfortable enough to handle the horse independently.
